This project promotes ecosystem-based adaptation (EbA) by using biodiversity, natural resources, and ecosystem services to strengthen communities’ capacity to cope with the impacts of climate change. Through the global network Friends of EbA (FEBA), it fosters mutual learning and the exchange of experiences among organizations, highlighting EbA as an effective green alternative to conventional “grey” adaptation measures. In doing so, the project improves adaptation strategies both in planning processes and in practical implementation at national, regional, and global levels.
